Candidates can accredit knowledge of English language within the admission process to the curricular programs of the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, with any of the following:
To be graduated from an undergraduate curriculum at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, provided that no more than two years have elapsed since graduation. The time is counted towards the start date of the registration process.
To achieve the proficiency level required by the University through the test of the National Admissions Office.
To show a foreign language certificate with a validity of less than two years, from the following list of certificates, and the following results:

To present the certificate, the applicant enrolled in a graduate curriculum must:
1. Record the application for approval in the box asking if you wish to certify English test, at the time of formalizing your registration via Internet.
2. Deliver the original and current certificate, within the calendar established by the respective call during the enrollment period, at the National Admissions Office (Calle 44 No. 45-67, Bloque B3, Unidad Camilo Torres, Bogotá D.C., from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm); or send to the email firstname.lastname@example.org a digital image of the original and current certificate, with a date of presentation not more than two years of the test that is being requested to homologate.
3. The validity of the certificate is considered with respect to the start date of the registration process.
The National Admissions Office will inform the applicant, via e-mail, the confirmation or rejection of the homologation request, which is subject to review of compliance with the mentioned requirements.
